Ensure Suitable Names in Game Sessions

Gimkit does include filters to block lousy language. But some inappropriate words might still go unnoticed. Using Classes, ensure only correct names appear when students play live games.

When a Class is created, each student creates their own Gimkit account. They then use a special invite link to join the Class. However, if your school uses Google SSO, make sure your IT team has set up Google Workspace properly to avoid login issues. After joining, their account name will show up in live games. You can also change how their name appears within your Class if needed.

Instant Join Feature: This feature allows students to enter live games without needing a join code. They will instantly connect using the name from their Class—quick and smooth! Students can also easily view Gimkit leaderboard during gameplay to track their progress.

Monitor Progress on Assignments

Gimkit Classes allow you to monitor which students finished a given task. Linking a Gimkit Assignment with a Class provides access to a neat report.
