Getting Started: How to Register on Quizizz

To create an account, go to the Quizizz website. You'll see a Sign-Up option in the top right corner. You can sign up with a Google account or use any valid email address.

Let’s break this down based on account type.

Creating a Quizizz Account Using Google

    • If you're using a Gmail or Google-linked email, follow these steps:Pick the Google account you want to use if you have more than one.
    • Click Allow to accept permissions.
    • Choose your role:
        • Teacher
        • Student
        • Parent/Guardian
    • If you're part of a school or college, fill in:
        • Country
        • Zip code or postal code
        • Name of your school or college After you enter your PIN code, a list of nearby institutions appears. Choose yours or type it manually.

Once completed, your account is ready!

Registering Without Google

For users not signing up through Google, do the following:

    • Enter your email and choose your role:
        • Teacher
        • Student
        • Parent/Guardian
    • Provide these details:
        • Title
        • First Name
        • Last Name
        • Password
    • Hit the Complete Sign Up button.
    • Add school details:
        • Country
        • ZIP/Postal Code
        • Institution Name A list of institutions will show up once the PIN code is entered. Select one or input it manually if it’s not listed.

You are now part of the Quizizz family!

Quizizz Login Steps

Once you've signed up, logging into your Quizizz account is simple. Use the email you registered with or log in via your Google account.

Role-Based Features: Teachers vs. Students

These features are personalized according to your selected role during sign-up.

Exploring 'My Quizzes' Section

Once logged in, go to the My Quizzes tab. This area holds all the quizzes you’ve made or saved. You can:

    • Edit a quiz
    • Share it
    • Assign it to a class
    • Review results from completed sessions

Inside the Administrator's Control Panel

If your account has admin rights (usually for schools), here’s how to use the dashboard:

    • Once Quizizz confirms your subscription (explore Quizizz pricing for plan details), a message will be sent to your email.
    • After activation, your school’s name appears in the top-left corner.
    • Click the Admin Controls button under your school name.
    • Then click Manage Teachers to open the admin dashboard.

Using the Admin Panel

The admin panel shows all active members. You can see their roles (teacher or admin) and update them as needed.

Only administrators can see and manage this area.

Assigning or Removing Admin Rights

To give admin access to a teacher:

    • Click on their current role in the panel.
    • Choose Administrator.

Adding Staff Members to the Dashboard

You can add teachers in three ways:

    • Upload a spreadsheet
    • Manually invite by entering their email
    • Connect rosters using Clever or ClassLink

Note: Students should not be added through the admin panel.

Deleting Teachers from the List

To remove any member:

    • Select one or more names using the checkboxes.
    • Click the trash icon.
    • Choose Yes, delete to confirm.

Exporting Member Data

To download the list of staff:

    • Click the download icon.
    • A file will be sent to your email as a link.
    • Hit Download in your inbox.

Keep in mind: The download link will be active for 7 days.
